As a result of the concert giveu iu the Sound Shell, Marino Parade, Napier, last Friday evening, by Uncle Ed., Aunt Gwen and the 2ZL radio cousins, the Hawke's Bay Children 's Homes and the 2ZL Radio Christmas Fund will benefit to the extent of £6 6/- eaeh. Tlie takings amounted to £14 8/- and the only deduetions were 25/- for bus, and 10/- for advertising. The organisers are indebted to the Napier Borough Couneil for the use of the Sound Shell and seats free of charge, to Mr. Ian Baird for the use of his radio system, and to Messrs.
