AIR FORCE CRASHES
(Beceived 9, 12.30 p.m.CANBEREA, Dec. 8. Be^ufests made in the HPuse of Bepresentatives for an open inqniry into the recent series '-of aecidents to Boyal Australian Air ForCe Hawker Demon aeroplanes were refused by the Government. The Minister of Defence, Mr H. V. Thorley, said that the Government considerCd the Hawker Demons to be airworthy and did not propose to impose a ban on their uge.
