ITALY IS EXPECTED SOON TO WITHDRAW FROM THE LEAGUE

The Times Bome correspondent says: "It is believed that Italy will shortly notlfy her intention of quitting the League of Nations as the result of pressure from Germany, which is anxious that Italy and Germany should be on a common footing if and when reform of the Covenant is discussed."'
