Beplying in the House of Commons to a question, Mr Anthony Eden said that Italy 's recognition of Manchukuo appeared to be inconsistent with the League 's xecommendation in Septem* her, 1933. Mr Eden stated that the text of China's protest to Geneva did not appear to call for any aetion by Britain at Geneva.
