-Press Apso^iatioB.)

— a (By Telegraph—

HAMILTON, Last Night. On the ground that it had qbvionsly been sought only as a sliort cut to divorce, aii application for an order granting the restitution of conjugal rights to Alexander Hewson, fariner, of Cambridge, against Agnes Florence Hewson was dismissed by Mr. Justice Callan in tlie Bupreme Coprt at Hamilton to-day. ''Though I am sorry for these people, I cannot grant the application,'' said his Honour, "for it is apparent that they are just trying to take a short cut to divorce. The only inference that can be drawn from their letters to one anotlier is that, realising their stupid rnistake in marrying, they evolved this ifdhod of securing' a divorce." It was shown that the parties mart'ied as the result of an advertisement.'
