TARADALE R.S.A. MEMBERS MEET
A largely attended meeting of members of the Taradale Returned Soldiers' Association was held last night Mr H. Alderton presiding. An invitation was received from the mem bers of the Taradale Women 's lnstitute to attend a social evening to be held in the Taradale Town Hall on Tuesday evening next. The invitation was aecepted with appreciation and a pleasant evening is being looked forward to. ! Preliminary arrangements were dis' cussed in connection with Poppy day next year and it was decided to order 750 poppies for sale throughout the distriet. It was decided to hold. the annual axemens' and sports meeting on Saturday, February 19. The meeting aecepted the invitation of the Omarunui Bowling Club to play a friendly game on their grqens.
