The Bill also validat'es the'obser^nce of the King's Birthday as 'a holiday on June' 9 this year. The preamble of the Bill states that "his Majesty has been gracibusjy pleased to approve of the observance of his birthday on' the flrst Monday- in Jiine in eyery subsequent year -of his' rei'gn. V ' J The remainder of the Bill merely gives full legal effect to the' change, particularly as it applies to industria] legislatiob, awards and - industrial agi-eements.
