A new coiffure is just as stimulating as a new frock, an d that is why women's interest in hair styles seldom flags. These lovely girls, who will be seen in the picture, "Vogues of 1938," soon to be shown in New Zealand, demonstrate new and attractive ways of doing the hair. From left: The first picture shows a long curl falling across the forehead in a most exotic manner. The sides are curled back. There is a superb dignity about the sculptured line of the second coiffure, with two curls rolled back from the forehead. The side curl is pulled to the back of the head and rolled forward. Soft' curls cluster at the nape of the neck. The third coiffure is admirably suited to the woman who has a rounded face, for the high forehead curl gives length to the face and the backward sweep of the curls at the side broadens the forehead and narrows the width of the cheekline. All the charm of youth is expressed in the style on the right, with a centre parting and sweeping rolled curls. This is an ideal style for the debutante who likes to wear fresh flowers in her hair.
