Children's Radio Sessions
A.
GARNETT.
Sir, — In my opinion "Disgusted" has not interpreted Uncle Ed's remarks concerning the old 2ZL studio iyThe remarks about the studio wero not spoken in a depreciatory manner, but were intended to and did convey to listenere the difBculties under which nt times the sessions were carried out owing to the capacity of the children 'e room. I know1 that when Uncle Ed first took charge" of the children's sessions in Mr Holden'e studio the sitting-room was too large, and at the time of closing down, without decreasing any appreciable amount in size, the sama room was too small. Surely this does not suggest that the sessions are or were not up to the same standard they were 12 months agof The woeful and ignoble manner in which Uncle Ed has been criticised from behind a barricade of a nom-de-plumes of prejudiced letter writers, can only refleet more injuriously on the attacker than the attaeked. — Yours, etc.,
