WAIPUKURAU, Last Night. Playing at Russell Park on Saturday afternoon, the Old Boys cricket team secured a win over Te Aute College by 10 wickets. Batting first, the home team scored 100 ruus, Stapleton contributing 38 (30 by boundaries) and Bliss 34. The college batsmen shaped J poorly, eight of them being dismissed '1 for no runs. Stapleton and Williams took heavy toll, the former capturing .five wickets for nine runs and the latter three for six. Te .Aute went to the wickets agaih and fared much better, making 76 ruus. As their first innings total was 24 their complete score was exactly the same as Old Boys first innings yield — 100. Thus, Old Boys needed oxily oue run for vietory when they started their second strike.
