Son Carries on Tradition of . of Family; - * The late Bishop Williams in' 1888 married a daughter of Mr. S. L. Mason, of Edinburgh. He is survived by his widow, four sons and three daughters. The eldest son, Dennis, is at present an-inmate of a hospital in Gisborne] Tlie second son, the Rev. Nigel Williams, . has just been appointed assistant chaplain to Wanganui Collegiate School, and is to take up his duties after the New Year. In his early years in the priesthood Mr. Nigel Williams was engaged in missionary work in the islands, and then went to Singapore, where be was chaplain of the Singapore Cathedral for severai years. He returned home recently, and is at present in Napier. Two other. sons, Quentin and. Merrick, are station-owners at Whatatutu and Te Araroa, East Coast, respectively. The three daughters are Mrs. Sewell, of Patutahi, and the Misses Zoe and Ursula Wil|iams. Mrs. Charles Grey, of Waiohika, Gisborne, and Miss Edith Williams, Hukarere, Napier, are sisters of tbe late bishop.
