Lord Harewood's Generous Offer to Tenants LONDON, Dec. 5. The Sunday Graphic says that the iast personal link between the Irisli Free State and the Royal Family is being severedi by Lord Harewood' s decision 310 longer to maintain liis estates in Lough Rea, County Galway, which he inherited from Earl Cianricharde. Lord Harewood made a generous offer to his tenants, cancelling their arrears of rent and providing an 11year purchase scheme, which *>urprised the Irish Leaseholders' Association, who are advising the tenants to demand a seven-year scheme. This. delayed negotiations for a long timo. Lord Harewood' s action jn cancelling the arrears of rent of his tenants is believed to involve thousands of pounds, and it is expected that it will cancel the summonses for rent which are retur^aule on December 21.
