The attention of all interested in the Waipawa County Racing Club is directed to an advertisement appearing in this issue concerning a public meeting, to be held in the Borough Chambers on Friday, December 17th, to discuss the future policy, as extensive improvements to the course appointments will be necessary before it is possible to race there again. As the matter is one of general intercst to the district, all concerned, whether members of the cliib or not, are cordially invited to attend. ■ Manchester TJnity Oddfellows and candidates for initiation are feminded that the Hastings lodge will hold its regular meeting in the Oddfellows' Hall, Market street, on Tuesday next, at 7.30 p.m.
