MUNICIPAL THEATRE
"NOBODY'S FOOL" AND "THE MAN WHO LIVED TWICE." Jfdward Everett Horton screens in the Universal picture, "Nobody's Fool/' at the Municipal Theatre, toaight, Horton, as a small town waiter, goes to New York to give the Big Town his ideas on the building of model homes. The self sufficient know-it-all becomes involved in a battle between two groups of real estate racketeers. He does not realise he is being kidded and that makes the situation even funnier. Then he becomes interested in Glenda Farrell, inember of one mob, who ttings wisecracks at his liead. 13ut they bounce right baek. Things begin to pop when Horton crosses battle-axes with Cesar llomero, chief of a rival crowd. Thrilis and chills abound plentifully in Coluinbia's "The Man VVho Lived Twice," featuring Halph Bellamy, Ma* rain Carih and Isjthel Jewell* which
the second feature at the Municipal. The film tells of the transformation on the operating table of a dangerous, implacable killer into a gentle, honest citizen, who then uses his talents and genius 'to study and succeed in" the practice of medicine. Bellamy appears in the title role, with Thurston Hall as the ddetor responsible for his "regeneration" ; .Marian Marsh as the girJ with w.hom he f alls in love ; ' Isabel Jewell as his onetime girl >who ref uses to givo 'him 'up even after the surgeon's , scalp'el has completely changed him and blanked his memory ; Ward Bond as his former pal who. remains loyal to the 'end;. and others in supporting roles. The climax mounts in the final courtroom scenes "where Bellamy stands trial for the crimes he had committed as his former self.
