Hastings Club Meets

The nsual monthly, meeting of the Society was held in the club rooms on Hastings Poultry, Pigeon and Canary Friday" evening, Mr H. O. Walker presiding over a good attendance of members and friends. One new member was elected. General business was dealt with, including re-nominations of judges to the North Island Association. The . following gentlemen's names are to be forwarded: — Canaries, Mr H. O. Walker; canaries and cage birds, Mr R. Forster; pigeons, Mr W. J. Wilkins; game and game bantams, Mr J. Collins; poultry, fancy and utility, Mr G. C. Thornton. The club's delegate to the recent meeting of the North Island Poultry Association held in Palmerston North then gave a resume of proceedings and a description of results of remits. A very hearty vote * of thanks was passed to the - delegate, Mr Thornton, with acclaniation.
