MR. CECIL DAVIES GRAHAM
Following a brief illness the death occurred last fevening of Mr. Cecil Davies Graham, of Hastings. Mr. Graham was born in Ipswieh, Queensland, in 1862. He came to New Zealand just over years ago, and for many years was employed as an accountant in the firm of Beaeh and Ailan, of Wellington. Some 20 years ago he came to Hastings and became associated with the legal firm of Cotterill and Humpnries, which was later changed to Kelly and McNeil. Shortly after this change in the business Mr. Graham accepted the agency of the Colonial Mutual Life Assurance Society for Hastings, and continued in this capacity vntil his passing. Though not giving to seekfng prominence in public affairs, the late Mr. Graham enjoyed the high respect and esteem of the people with whom he was associated. For many years he was auditor of the Heretaunga Club, and he was an ardent and active adherent of the Anglican faith. Widespread sympathy will be exterded to those who are left, who include the widow, four sons — Messrs. N. D. Graham (Wanganui), G. D. Graham (Auckland), E. R. D. Graham (Wellington) and C. D. Graham (Wellington) — and three daughters — Mesdames F. Whibley (Palmerston North), H. Thompson (Wairoa) and L. Berkahn (Hastings). The funeral will leave St. Matthew's Chureh at 12.30 o'clock to-morrow 'afternoon for the Hastings Cemetery.
