TO GO INTO RECESS
Havelock North Amateur Athletic Club The following statement has been issued by the Havelock North Amateur Athletic Club: "As a result of insufficient public interest in a meeting of the Havelock North Amateur Athletic Club on Novvember 26, and to which meeting members of the public were invited, it wa* resolved that the club go into recess for an indefinite period. The .balance of the cash in hand is to be transferred to the Post Office savings-bank, and two of the senior members of the executive are to act as trustees of th-J fund. It is anticipated that at some future date the opportunity may present itseif to reviv-e the annual sports but at this junctnre it was agreed by those present that the outlook appeared hopeless. ' '
