Havelock Pair Now The Holders The Tonkin Tikia again clianged hauds last evening, when the challengers, Hall and Anderson, Havelock N„ defeated the holders, Garland and Hall, Hastings Club. The challengers quickly settled down and chalked up 10 before the holders got on the board. Ai'tor that the play was fairly even, though the Havelock pair always had tho upper hand, Anderson being in great form in both driving and drawing. The final scoro was '20— rlO in favour of the challengers. The next challengers are E. Eixon and W. Graham, Kia Toa.
