Fastest Passenger Machine in the World , BANNED IN BRITAIN

LONDON, Nov. 4. Fastest bus in the world is to be seen at tho Commercial Motor' Show which opened at Earl's Courf, London, to-day. This 350 h.p. 70-passenger machine is designed for a speed of 80 miles an hour. It is so fast that it has been banned for use in Britain, where 30 miles an hour is the limit for passenger and commercial vehicles. It has been built for use on the German motor roads where there are no speed limits and passenger services are run at railway speeds. The Hensehel firm produced it specially for roads of military signifieance. It has a 12cylinder diesel engine and six wheels. The show is the biggest international exhibition of commercial vehicles ever staged. There are 420 exhibitors and in the vehicle section there will be seen 450 chassis and completed machines. They include taxis, buses, mechanical horses, streamlined dust-carts, "limousine" fire-engines, light vans and heavy vans, ambulances, petrol tankers and milk' tankers — every tjqie of commercial and industrial vehicle. Rearmamenfc is represented by a giant Scammell six.-wheeled tractor for towing big guns. It is shown oii the stand atop a piece of ground laid out like "no man's land." Near it thefe is a vehicle designed as an air-raid "deContaminator. ' '
