Shopping honrs for Christmas and New Year weeks in Hastings were de« cided upon at a meeting of the execuH tive of the Hastings Retailers ' Associa* tiont his morning. It was decided to observe the nsual Thursday statutory half-holiday on the Thursday prior to christmas Day and to have shops opou to 5.30 p.m. during the week days and to 10 p.m. on Friday night of each* week.
