Increased Stakes at Aiitumn Meeting A meeting of the eommittee of the Napier Park Racing Club was held last evening. Prcsent: MeSsrs G. LoUisson (Chaifman)y J. F. Miller? A. G. Stehd, T. Parker J. W. Three nfew members wero elected. In reply td a circplar from the N.Z. Racing COnferdnce, it was deeided to subseribe to the Offtcial Calendar. The questioh Of UnaUthorised pdrsons nsing the grounds and buildings was discussed, and it was decided to erect notices that persOns trespagsiug 6n the course and buildings without authority will be prosecuted. The programme for, the autumn meeting, to be held early ifi Mateh, as submitted by the progi'aiumo committce, was cpnllrmed. The club has decided to increase . the stake, s for this fixturc, hoping timi a better class of horse and Larger ndrninations will result. The I principal race will be the Napier Parh I Cup, Which has been increased to £250 I and a 20-guinea trophy.
