Italian Shipping to South Africa Receive^ 2, 8-45 a.m.) LONDON. Deq, 1. The Genoa correspondent qf the Daily. Telegraph says that the Soutb Afriean Gqvernmqnt has ngtifiqd the Italian Government that it does not intend to renew the five?year pnbsidy on Italian shipping lines from Genoa to South Afriea. The subsidy amounted to £150,000 yearly. It will terminate on December 31. * South Afripa's reasons are that Italian liners are not suffioiently refrigerated and are too slow, also that trade with Europe has declined, making the subsidy too expensive. Italian shippers state that the subsidy will make lfttle difference because, in view of the large Italian subsidy, they will build 13 new ships, of which six will be for the South Afriean trade,
