Nordmeyer, M.P. for Oamaru, that the situation warrants action being taken by the Government in granting free railage pf stocic from the distriet pr supplies of fodder from othpr districts, In mosfplaces wheat crops are being fpd off in' the hope of saving stock from starvatipn, and the failing water supply of many farms is giving rise to the utmost epncern.
