Store Cattle Values at Stortford Lodge ONLY A SMALL ENTRY Very -little inquiry was shown for store cattle at " Stortford Lodge to-day, when ; a small :yarding :met - with ; quiet fieiling. -Only- a small ' yarding was offered but buyers showed little interest- iu-the selling. Forward young bullocks • brought £9 and two-year steers from Whakamarumaru sold - at £6 15/-. The yeamngs penned were not, a • good . lot, having been hard Wintered.. Female entries were not b'n offer. . , . . Realisations were as follow: — ;An entry of 28 fairly-grown young Aberdeen Angus; cross bullocks, in good store condition, having been well wintered and should finish readily, were passed at £9. ' ' Down from Whakamarumaru, 50 twoyear Aberdeen- Angus-Hereford-cross sterse, medium-grown and in good doing order, were .sold at £6-15/-. These steers should develop into. useful young cattle. An offering of 33 yearling Aberdeen Angus-Hereford-cross steers, . small grown ' and? -showing hard condition, were slow to sell at £5. Down from Matahoura, an entry of horned rising • three-year Hereford steers, in poor order, were passed at £5 10/-. In off hard country, a line of cleanbred twq . and three-year Aberdeen Angus steers,, in medium condition, being useful. young cattle, met the market at £6 18/-. "
