Mrs Sam Spence and her daughter, Miss Iris Spence, left Hastings by car yesterday on an extended motor tour of the South Island. Mr J. Osler, senr., of Wairoa, who has been visiting Napier, returned home yesterday. Mra Ewan Jefferson, of Wairoa, is visiting Napidr. Mrs Wykes, of Te Aroha, who has been visiting her sister, Mrs Ewan Jefferson, of Wairoa, is now visiting Napier. Mrs and Miss Anderson, of St. Andrew's, Scotland, are on an extended viisit to New Zealand and are at present the guests of' Mr and Mrs Alex Inglis, of Ongaonga. Miss Ruth Herrick, Chief Commissioner of New Zealand Girl Guides, is the guest of Mrs Oecil Burgess, New Plymouth. Miss Oarliil, sister of Mrs Carlili Waldin, Grays road, Hastings, who has been ill since last March, is making slow but satisfactory progress. Mrs H. W. Williams, Bishopscourt, Napier, is returning by plane to-day from a visit to Gisborne. Mrs H. Kathbone, Waipawa, is visiting her parents, Mr and Mra W. Graham, Ormond, Gisborne. Mr and Mrs A. H. Russell, Ngatapa, Gisborne, are the guests of Lady Russell, Tunanui, Hastings. Mrs A. F. Hall, the Yiearage, Gisborne, is visiting Hawke's Bay.
