HAVELOCK SWIMMING CLUB
- ■■■ ■-!* — -.■■■ - Carnival in Aid of Pavilion Built on to the back of the Havelock North baths and overlooking the Napier road across the Domain, is a most attractive new building. As yet uncompleted inside, this building, the Domain Pavilion,- is the result of the fine effons of a few Havelock North residents. With the objcct of hastening the completion of the building, the Havelock Noith Swimming Club will, on Wednesday, hold a special carnival, the proceeds of which will be handed over tp assist in the finishing of the interior of the pavilion. Big entries of Havelock North and visiting swimmers have been received for the events. Following is the programme: — Sehoolboys' and schoolgirls' 25yds; intermediate boys, 50yds; intermediate girls, 25yds; ladies, 25yds; open, 50yds; open eleetric dash; novelty high jump; junior exhibition and faney dress diving; teams and inter-club relay races; and an interclub polo mateh, Mahora v. Havelock North. The Havelock North Swimming Club is the present holder of the Rainbow Shield and the Henry Williams Cup. A first class eveniiig's entertainment is assurecl all those wlio attencL
