COMMISSIONER'S LETTER
Dear Scouts, — This letter is to the Hastings Scouts, an-d by Scouts I mean Cubs, Scouts and Scouters. You all know how this month we are making a special effort to raise sufficient funds to build our Scout hall. The Rotary Club is helping us tremendously, and the Area Committee members are working hard. Now, what are you chaps who are going to get the benefit of this hall going to do about it yourselves? I know that some of you have done a lot already, but those who have not, what are yqu going to do? I would like to see every Scout and Cub give something himself, no matter how small, and I hope the court of honour of each troop will seo its way to givo something out of troop funds. But please do it now. We Want tho whole tking finished by the end of this month, and there is not much time left. — Oheerio till next week. "ROBIN HOOD.77 "Robiu Hood77 has only written us a short letter because he had to get off to the Commissioner 7s conference in Wellington, Our New Zealand Headquarters is very much alive nowadays, and is doing a lot to get Scouting going in this country as it should be doing. — "Big Smoke."
