. Service to be Developed LONDON, Nov. 28. The Daily Telegraph says: "As evidence that the use of foreign languages will not prejudice' transmiissions to English-speaking listeners, the Broadcasting Cdrporation plans to develop' the Empire service in the New Year. The prineipal change to suit listeners will be the closing of the gap between transmission daily to Austraiia, New transmission daily ytyo Austraiia, New Zealand, Africa and the Far East from 10.45 a.m. to 6 p.m. Longer features are to be introdueed in the morning sessions at 8.15 a.m. to Austraiia and New Zealand and India. "It is proposed to xeflect life in the Dominions and colonies with monthly programmes originating overseas and which will be rebroadcast throughout the Empire."
