SYDNEY, Nov. 20. A large tree crashed across the road ouly a few minutes before a car in which the Premier of New South Wales. Mr E. B. Stevens, wa-s being driven from Kyogle to Murwillumbah reached the spot. Mr Stevens began to chop tho tree away, but the axe broke, and as there did not appear to be any chance of removiug the free, the party made a detour through neiglibouriijg paddocks. I which caused a delay of about two aud a-half hours.
