PRINCE CHARLIE TARTAN

Adoption by Duke of Windsor LONDON, Nov. 28. The Duke of Windsor is adopting the Bonnie Prince Charlie tartan, a new kilt of which is being weaved at Brora, Sutherlandshire. It is a variant of the Royal Stewart except that the blue and green lines are broader, Teducing the red squares on the background. This is traversed by yellow lines, traditionally indicating Royal Seottish descent.
