National Party Prepares

MASTEETON, Last Night. A gathering of several hundreds was addressed ,by the Hon. Adam Hamiltoa in the grounds of "Longwood," tho Eiddiford property at Featherston, on Saturday. The speech, in which Mr Hamilton urged the people to unite in the defence of demoeraey against the Labour Government, was warmiy applauded aind he was cheered by the gathering. Mr Hamilton said they might h'ave an election in May or June next/ or it might not come till November. They should not be caught nappmg. Mr C. H. Weston, Dominion president of the National Party, had previously said that Mr Hamilton intenUded to have his candidates in the field within the next few months.
