There was a good attendance at tha Wairere Club's green on Saturday, four rinks being engaged in shield games. The results were decidedly against the home players, only one victory being achieved, The green is still on the heavy side, but from now on should improve, Details: — Kia Toa: Rixon, Horton, Harria, Parkhill 19; Spencer, Gibson, Lee, Sinclair 13.
