WAIPAWA CLUB
The weather on Saturday afternoon was perfect for outdoor sports, and all gections were well represented on the Waipawa Sports Club's grounds. On the bowling green two further games in the District Shield competition took place, one with Havelock and the other with Hastings, the visitors being successful in both games. Details: Waipawa: Hawke, Petherick, Chisholm, Ilolt 12; Havelock North: Riley, Murray, Hay, Anderson 25. Hastings: Taylor, Murley, Claughton, Esson 22; Waipawa: Kingston, August, Jopson, Critchley 16. Ordinary games: — Jull, Barrie, Wallace 20; Nissen, Haldane, Davy 15. Waldrom, Holt 24; Kittow, Clark 12. Harwood, Larson, Noell 25; Hart, Hermanson, Carne 9.
