Paper Production to Start Next Year

WHAKATANE, Last Night, The annual meeting of sharehold,ers of the Whakatane Paper Mills, Ltd., was held at the company's office at Whakatane to-day. About 100 shweholders from all parts -of New Zealand attended. The managing-director, Mr H. A. Horrocks, reviewed the past year.'s operations and explained the progress of construction pf the mill which, he said, would be operating in five months ' time. Mr Horrocks replied to numerous questions to the satisfaction of all present. The meeting coneluded with a unanimous vote of confidence m ihe directors.
