BRIDE WEARS GOWN OF IVORY CLOQUE SATIN

TURNER— DODDS The wedding was solemnised at All Saints ' Chureh, Palmerston Nofth, recently of Myrtle -Hannah, daughter of Mr and Mrs D. Dodds, of Woodville, and Thomas Edward, son of Mrs E. N. and the late Mr A. J. Turner, of Christchurch. The bride, who was given away by Mr R. E. Jones, wore a trained gown of cloque satin cut on classical nnes, with high neckline and long tight sleeves. Her embroidered tulle veil, lent by an old school friend, was held in place. with a coronet of orange blossom. The bride was attended by Miss Ruby ' Ralph, who wore a model gown of floral satin. On her head she wore a halo of pink xose petals, and a bouquet of pink roses and fern was carried. The weuding reception was held at the P.D.C. tea-rooms, where the guests j were received by Mr and Mrs D. Dodds, the latter wearing a navy tailored ensemble with beige relief and a navy hat. Mrs E. N. Turner, the bridegroom's mother, wore a black coat over a floral crepe-de-chine frock, and a black hat. When the bride and bridegroom left for their honeymoon the bride travelled in a browh tailored coat over a brown suit, with hat and accessories also in this shade. Mr and Mrs T. E. Turner will inake their future home in Waipawa.
