The attention of fruitgrowers is drawn to the fact that Mr. A. L. Burke, of Goodwins Ltd-, who have been handling large quantities of New Zealand fruit during the past few years, will address a meeting of fruitgrowers in C. H. felater 's store 0x1 Monday evening next at 8 p.m. Members of the Musie Circle of the Hastings Townswomen 's GjiiJd will present the operetta ' ' The Captive" on Thulsday, December 2, in the Oddfellows' Hall at § p.m.
