NEW PLYMOUTH, Last Night. Pif'ty miners employed in the Eg mont Collieries' coal mine at Tatu, in the Ohura district, have struck. it 1.understood the trouble arose throua j the dismissaJ ot one mmer and tlie manager 's refusal to reinstate him. A union official is understood to be neyotiating with the company, but no indication of a settlement is yet forthcouv ing. The mine has been produclng about 100 tons of coal a day.
