.•WELLINGTON, This Day. • Pioneer of big game fishing in the, North of New Zealaxi'd, Mr. E. P.:An-" dreas of Sydney, arrived by the Awatea, to spend several months. It iW his first visit here for five years. He, said that no other couutry in the^ world provides such a field for the tour-. ist and sportsman, and in - no r other country of his aCquaintance was -the' tourist so well catered for. He believed that the Government would -makethings even better in New Zealand. It' liad great ideals behind it and seemed' to have men who would do their utmost. to make those ideals reality. The question was, could thtey pass on their eflthusiasm and ideals to the men beneath them? He intends to ,do some tront- fishing, at Taupo and Rotorua, and will later' go to the Bay of Islands, where he 'hopes to renew many old acquaintances and is looking forward to trying out again the big game fishing grounds. He^ is enthusiastie about the new arrangement, whereby tourists can bring- their' own motor-cars to New Zealand, being' sure that this will do a lot towards attracting people from other countries. •
