Achilles' Steaming Trial

WELLINGTON, Last Night. After a stay of seven days at Wellington, the two cruisers of the Ncw Zealand Division of the Royal Navy departed today on their retu-rn to tha Devonport Naval Base, Auckland, from which they have been absent for severftl weeks on a southern crnise. 3LM.S. Leander left port at SAO a.m. and H.M.S. Achilles at 4.45 p.m. On her way up the East Coast tomorrow morning, H.M.S. Achilles, which was docked recently at Aucklandf or annual refit, will carry 011 1 her half-yearly full-power- steaniing trial, an evolution which will last about fotir honfs. With her six , wateriabe boilers nnder uteam, H.M.S. Achilles, will work up to her full power at which jihe will steam for two hours.
