Professor's Opinion (Received 26, 8.45 a.m.) LONDON/' Nov. 24. Professor Norman Bentwich, in a speech at the Eoyal Empire Society conference' on Empiro development, appealed for the abandonment of the doetrine of self-sufficiency in humanRy as well as in trade by throwing open the door in other cduntries, particularly Austraiia, for the migration of Jewisb refugees from Germany. The Marquess of Dufferin and Ava said that the next ten years would see renewed offorts to develop colonies and contribute to the wealth and happiness of the world. Oolonial trade would not be confined to the Empire.
