KING ENJOYS SPORT ■ ' • LONDON, Noy. 3. • • Giant wine barrels', six feet deep, 'sunlc in the marshland, have been used by the King for duck shooting this 'week on'his Norfolk estate. Standing inside these barrels, which were spec'ially sent to Sandringham, the King mado an excellent bag of 69 birds in . an evenihg. After his arrival at Sandringham the King put on waders, heavy overcoat and maciritosh, arid with Major JPellowes, the Sandringham estate 'agent, ' and other companions, he set out and wallced briskly across Dersingham Common to the marshes. He was Up at six o'clock the next niorning'a'nd out duck shooting sigain. This time he got : ' 40 birds. He also had two days ' pheasant shooting. . /- The Kiiig's enthusiasm for the sport equals that of his fatlief, one of Britain's bes't shots. She is spendbig most of her time indoors re-arranging the fufniture in Sandringham House and making preparations for the family Christmas party, which wi'll be held : ihere as in other ycars.
