NEED FOR FINANCE
Wairarapa Aero Club MASTERTON, Last Night. It was stated at the annual meeting of the Wairarapa and Ruahine Aero Club, that the suspension of the Government subsidy on pilots trained had affected the finaneial position of the club, but on the other hand the full benefit of the njew scheme would be felt during the current year. The president, Mr A. McDonald, said the year ended with a loss of £266 6/-. The club's planes had again been written down, ZK — ABE to £162 and ZK — ACD to £48 12/. ZK— ADL would become the club's property after complction of 1000 hours' flying, of which approximately 325 hours remained to be flown. Current assets approximated £1000 and there were current liabilities about £500, so that there was ^ very small margin in the event of a Tnajcr crash.
