Development in Poland (Received 25, 8.45 a.m.) LONDON, Nov. 24. The Warsaw eorrespondent of The Times reports that apprehension over the growtE of totalitarian tendencies in Poland has been somewhat relieved. First, an audience was given by the President, M. Mosciekj, to Socialists and trade unionists, and secondly, reaolutions of -legionary organisations at "Warsaw, Yilna, and Lwow refused to endorse extreme totalitarianism, either of the Right or Left, and advocated tho shariiig of constitutional responsibility by the whole nationMarshal Smigly-Rydz, the InspectorGeneraP of the Army who was absent owing to illness, addressed the meetings by radio, urging the nation to maintain its unity. It now seems likeiy that politically, if not economically, tno activities of Colouel Eoc and his ultra-national following will be toned down,.
