As the result of his car collidin>j with a pillar of a safety zone near Battray street after midnight, Joseph Rc ginald Wilson, aged 35, of Timaru, received in,iurios causiug death a few ininutes after being extricated from tha wreckage. Mr Wilson, a commercial traveller, was alone in the car, the wholc front of which was shattered.
