LICENSING AUTHORITY
Short Sitting at Hastings APPLICATIONS HEARD
A re-iteration of his previous statements that Hawke's Bay is well served by existing licences and that he would not grant additional ones for generai carrying was made by the No. 2 Tranaport Licensing Authority, Mr P. Skoglund, at a session held yesterday after' noon in the Hastings Courthouse. Six applications only were heard, the session lasting less than 15 minutes. Tom Brown Ltd., Hastings, was granted a transfer of one authority to J. Mills, Hastings. A transfer was granted from H. lrvine to P. Lowe, both of Hastings. Gordon Black, of Hastings, was granted permission to transfer an au> thority to MinOr Parcel Service Ltd., Hastings. Powdrell Bros. were granted two extra authorities, for . the carriage oi livostock only. It. J. Eves, Hastings, was granted an extension of his authority, to permit the carriage of parcels up to 561b3. weight. Attwood and Reid were granted an exteml'f'd authority for the use of a trailor.
