Military Camps

Sir, — I wish to support Ihe remarks of K. E. Crompton, M.D., appearing in the coloumns of yesterday's HeraldTribune. I wonder wliat part was played in the Great War by those who have no enthusiasm for military training, and if necessity should arise , for the future defcnce of Kew Zealand, will they then be awake to the dangers? These voiunteerg give their time and energies ■ irrespective- of any monetary or social gain. — Yoilrs, etc. ,

"1914."
