DRAMATIC MOVES
Hollywood Murder (Received 24, 8.45 a.m.) NEW YORK, Nov. 23. A series of dramatic moves has again thrown the spotfight on the murder of Hymie Miller, the film actor. A police squad recently .formed to clean up gangsters in Los Angeles invaded a Pasadena movie set and arrested an extra named Frankie Fisher, who has given considerable information concerning the crime. The police also questioned Walter Friedman, former manager of Primo Caruera, and Maxi Russ, also a boxing manager, both being. detained on suspicion. of robbery. Hymie Miller, a movie actor and cafe-owner, was fatally shot in his apartment at Los Angeles on November 15. His death is attributed to the vengeance of a New York gang.
