Australian Claim (Received 24, 8.45 a.m.) SYDNEY, Nov. 23. In an address to the Millions Olub to-day, the Federal Treasurer, Mr. R. G. Casey, declared that Australia offered. the best field for international investment in the world. The Coinmonwealth was at present short of capital, he said. Between £70,000,000 and €80,000.000 was spent in 1936 on buildings and Public Works. The exchange rate had been stable for six years, Budgets were now balaneed, and various Governments this year would apply £10,000,000 to tlie reduction of the public debt.
