On Monday .evening»tbe - Haumoana Tennis Club beld a general meeting atMrs -Low 's .residen.ee, ■ Mr H. . Horton presiding- over a large attendance. -Tbe chairman mentioned that ihe club was sinking a well and r hoped to bave the use of same at tbe end of tbe week. Tbis will be a great asset to tbe club. During' tbe. week-end tbe United Tennis Association started a- series of tennis competitions, tbe first being beld at Haumoana. Haumoana beat Skyrockets by nine sets to seven.
