Wkile tke Cagoulard searck has been intensified and extended, officers of tke Surete Nationale are working thTougkout the night to co-ordinate a _mass of material for a report to Cabinet toniorrow. Police activity to-day eentred at Bordeaux, Toulouse and Lisieux, wherc many searches kave been made. Tke police are convineed tkat Toulouse is an important arms-distributing centre, and investigators tkere are particularly giving attention to the activities of Spanisli emigres. De la Meuse, wlio was arrested yesterday, kas now been charged witk "close assoeiation witk malefactors." Further discoveries or arms iuclude 300 rifle bullets in a stocking on 'tke Dieppe-Rouen road. According to a Berlin message, tke newspaper Voelkiseker Beogachter describes tke suggestion tkat tke Cagoulards were finaneed from Germany as a "silly suspicion." Tke Berliner Tageblatt says tkat tke assertions are "founded completely on guesswork."
